Water Rates

A glass of water will cost more in the grand valley in the coming year.  Clifton Water District is raising its average monthly rate by about 14% to help make bond payments and keep up with the slow economy.  Ute Water plans to up its monthly base rate by $2to $15.  If approved, that would affect some 85,000 customers.  The Daily Sentinel says rates in Grand Junction and Palisade are expected to remain the same for 2012.
