Fire Guts Basalt Apartment Complex

11 Basalt families are without a home for now after a fire gutted an apartment building.  The blaze was a quick moving one on Friday night, and displaced 27 people in all.  Luckily nobody was injured.  Six of the 11 units in the building were a total loss.  Anyone interested in helping the families affected can call the Red Cross, Western Colorado Chapter by calling 970-242-4851.
