Colorado Tax Amnesty

Colorado's Tax Amnesty period has raised some $11 million for public education.  The "Jump at the Chance" initiative allowed businesses and individuals to avoid civil and criminal prosecuation in exchange for paying back taxes.  The Denver Post says another $3 million could be recouped when the final payments are posted next month.  The previous tax-amnesty event in 2003 netted $23.4 million.
