Colorado Spaceport

Fly to space from Front Range Airport east of Denver.  It might not be all that far away.  Colorado is pursuing FAA designation for a spaceport that would allow for creation of a facility offering tourism, travel and cargo transport to space and from point to point on earth.  Governor John Hickenlooper made the announcement yesterday, saying the idea seems far-fetched, but there's huge potential.  According to the Denver Post, Hickenlooper says spaceports are opportunities like cell phones in the early 1990s.  Space planes could potentially take passengers from Denver to Singapore in an hour and a half.
