Colorado Gives Day

A final accounting is expected by the end of the month, but right now, the second Colorado Gives Day was a huge success.  Fund raisers for non profit organizations across the state say the campaign raised nearly $12 million dollars, up from $8.4 million collected last year.  The Denver Post says $50 donations led the way, followed by $100 donations, making up half of all contributions.  One unnamed charity received a $500,000 contribution.
