GJ Airport Dispute

General aviation tenants at Grand Junction Regional Airport want the Grand Jucntion City Council to change leadership at the airport in part because of a wildlife fence and security gates.  They say it goes too far.  The Daily Sentinel says last night's city council meeting was packed. According to the Denver Post, similar security and fencing issues are popping up around the country. The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association based in Frederick, MD calls the fence the most "Draconian" example of complying with Federal airport security rules.
