Vail to Add New Gondola?

Vail Mountain is turning 50 next year, and officials with the resort are announcing an early present.  The Vista Bahn chairlift was built in 1985, and will be replaced with a brand new high capacity gondola, as long as it's approved by the US Forest Service.  Vail Mountain opened on December 15th, 1962.
