New BLM Camping Fees

The BLM has launched a new permit system for use of the Colorado River between Loma and Westwater, Utah.  Camping is allowed in 35 designated sites and the permit system will require boaters to reserve a campsite before they depart.  A permit is also required for day-use and motorized-use of Ruby Horsethief.  The no fee permit system starts May 1st and will likely become fee-based next year.
