It won't be too long before Garfield County has a new County Manager.  The Glenwood Post says Commissioners expect a short list of finalists by mid March.  Commissioners are looking at changing the way departments are organized and wants to have a new organizational chart by the time a new manager is selected.  Proposed restructuring wouldn't affect elected departments including treasurer, assessor, lerk and sheriff whose duties are dictated by state law.
