Serra Sentenced

Former Montrose DA Myrl Serra has been sentenced to one year in prison followed by 60 days in the Montrose County Jail, and 4 years probation.  Serra plead guilty last October to criminal extortion and unlawful sexual contact.  He was found guilty in August of violating his bail bond conditions.  Serra was arrested in September of 2010 on charges he sexually harassed and threatened three female employees in his office.
