CPW Energy in State Parks

The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission has approved negotiation of a surface agreement and lease with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation allowing energy development from one well pad at St. Vrain State Park outside of Longmont. Commissioenrs say they don't believe the drilling will have significant impact on the park.  The board yesterday also approved a surface use agreement for energy development on the Garfield Creek State Wildlife Area near Fairplay.
