Mesa County SARC Training

Mesa County Search and Rescue Control has a new tool, Century Link.  The company is providing its Grand Junction based Helicopter Operations as a resource for SARC and search operations in 5 other western states.  The helicopter is training with SARC tomorrow in Whitewater.  Both the Sheriff's Office and Century Link say having the helicopter readily available improves response time to rescues, especially those in difficult to reach areas.
