Pile-up on I-70 Started by Barell

A bizarre chain reaction crash on I-70 in the Beaver tunnel in DeBeque Canyon slowed traffic yesterday afternoon.  A flatbed truck transporting 55 gallon drums lost one barrel that was hit by one car.  That caused a chain reaction of more accidents involving 5 vehicles in all.  There were no serious injuries and the crash is under investigation.
