Whitewater Standoff

Mesa County Sheriff's Deputies say they're looking for a 46 year old man on domestic violence related charges after a five and a half hour stand off in Whitewater.  The SWAT team and deputies set up a perimeter around a home on Whiting Road last night believing Robert Lambert was inside.  When the finally entered they found the house empty.  Sheriff's spokeswoman Heather Benjamin says Lambert has a long history of run-ins with the law.
