Oil Spill on Highway 141 Cleaned Up

An oil spill snarled traffic on Highway 141 near Gateway yesterday.  An oil tanker carrying 10,000 gallons of crude oil rolled off the highway and spilled the oil into West Creek.  Grand Junction Fire Department Haz Mat crews worked to clean up the spill, and the road was reopened yesterday evening.  There is no word on the cause of the accident.
