A pair of groups supporting mill levy override measures to help fund education raised the money they were hoping for before the election. The friends of School District 51 in Mesa County raised $50,000 to support Referred Measure 3B in this week's election. In Garfield County, a committee supporting the Roaring Fork School District Re 1 raised nearly $30,000 dollars, according to the Glenwood Post, to support the passing of Ballot Measure 3E. Both mill levy overrides would help fund the districts during the down economy. Election day is tomorrow.
