Mystery Gunshot Wound Sends Woman to St. Mary's

A woman taken to St. Mary's with multiple injuries including a gunshot wound to the head is expected to survive, but Grand Junction Police are looking for information about how it all happened.  The woman was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle and spokeswoman Kate Poras says officers believe she was injured sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning in the area of the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.  Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers.
