Car/Pedestrian Charges

A 21 year old Pear Park man is under arrest in an accident that critically injured 50 year old Darinda Brown, and killed her dog.  Joseph Weixel  was arrested early yesterday and is facing vehicular assault charges.  Brown remains in critical condition after she was hit while walking on a sidewalk in the 400 Block of Canyon Trail Dr. Sunday evening.
