State Jobs

State lawmakers are looking at cutting some 500 state jobs in an attempt to balance the budget.  A committee charged with that is deadlocked over the proposal.  The latest proposed cuts would layoff as many as 500 workers, including state troopers, corrections, mental health and driver's license workers.  The Denver Post says all eyes are on March 19th, the date of the next state revenue forecast.
