Denver Medina Alert

Denver Police have a new community notification system to help catch hit and run drivers. It's called the Medina Alert. It's named after Jose Median, a 21 year old night club parking attendant who was hit and killed in January of 2011. The Denver Post says the first Medina Alert was issued last night after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a white van.  Police are still looking for the 1990s GMC Safari.
