D51 Talks 4-Day School Week

Four-day school weeks may be coming to District 51.  KREX says a group at the district's first community budget meeting last night decided that would be a good way to help cut $5 to $8 million dollars from next year's budget. Right behind the 4-day week, the group reportedly agreed raising extracurricular fees would help cut costs.  Community budget meetings are being held each Thursday this month.
