Parachute Suspect

A Parachute man being held in North Dakota in the disappearance of a Montana woman was free on bond from Garfield County and received permission from the court to travel to Texas two days before the disappearance.  According to the Daily Sentinel, 22 year old Michael Spell was facing charges for allegedly trying to sell marijuana to middle school students in Battlement Mesa in 2009. Now Spell and 47 year old Lester Vann Waters are being charged in the Montana disappearance.  Authorities there say they believe missing teacher Sherry Arnold is dead although her body has not been found.
